I have a 05 civic coupe (i dont know if its ex or lx) manual transmission. 2 days ago while i was driving i suddenly couldnt get into 2 or 4 gear ( it was like neutral) unless i really babied it, when i got close to my house (thank god i was just 2 houses down) my car got stuck in 1 or 2... anyway we think its the actual shifter being loose somehow, My actual question is: Does anyone know how to remove the center console in my car?

 

Forget the console. Get under the car and start checking there.

 

we already looked under the hood, things want to move, they just arent, so we want to see if its a simple peice thats broke....
