I was going to be building my d series n and out for extreme hp/show car. Turned out my money situation wasn't what I thought it was. Now I am just going to boosting my oem engine, using it for a decently responsive/gas sipper.
Looking at using a gt28 turbo t3, with internal wastegate. Anybody have input?
I want to be boosting around 3700-4000 rpm. Probly gonna be on 6-8 lbs tops. Looking at running a 2.5/7/26inch intercooler and 2.5 inch piping.

 

you should get full boost around 3500 with a stock block on a gt28r...

 

I had the Greddy turbo kit on my D16 back in 1998... worked awesome, spooled up quickly, lasted years before i tried to turn up the boost, then the motor blew...
I've been out of the modifications game for a few years so i dont know if that kit is available any more.
