Default ticking/ clicking by cylinder #4

i just rebuilt the head on my del sol, and now i hear a ticking/ clicking. now im wondering if it is just the valve lash or it is something else

adjust the valve lash and find out?

Well check it first (with a feeler gauge) then adjust if needed, make sure the engine is cold. what head are we talking about a B or D

checked lash all is good, still ticking though. and its a d series z6 head

make sure it not something lose like a braket or clamp that's hitting something as the only other thing i could think of is the begining of rod knock.
