Default My new project 94 Honda Eg two door coupe

Whats up fellas I'm new to this forum an to the Honda sport. Just recently bought a white 94 Civic Eg coupe, with power windows, locks, mirrors & a sunroof that actually works. The car was a former full time track car, I can already say that coming from the 240sx side and trucks that I had and have no idea what I'm getting myself into. I'm planning to make the best of this as it is my DD unless I buy another which might happen here shortly. Since I just left the Marine Corps I should be able to work on my own car and know what work I'm putting in, although school an work will get in the way but oh well.

So far the mods are a Fujita F5 short air intake, DC headers, some sort of pistons & skunk 2 fuel line? Waiting on a new engine since mother nature is a b***h an messed it all up

Looks like a pretty good body should be a good project, funny thing is most guys go from Honda's to 240's (my dad) and you're going backwards almost. Anyways, I'm sure you'll have fun even my little D16 has it fun moments. Can't wait to see what happens with this build.

Exterior of the car looks really clean and strait
Interesting how such a stock car can be a former full time track car though...

everything that's in the car "interior wise" an some of the other body stuff was pieced up by my friends crew before he sold it to me. It had a cage no interiors no door panels etc etc it was stripped. Lip was off the owners old crashed hatch

If you decide to do a harness use a bar. but keep the stock belts it's not anymore safe to DD with a harness over the stock 3pt. it's actualy more dangerous.

updates & no updates....
I was laid off from work last friday but got a new job an start soon. I stripped a lot of crap (factory Honda sound deadening material) and did a bunch of hand sanding to remove all the rust in the previous pictures posted. It was well worth it and now I primed it. Waiting to get my hands on a saws all, grinder or an air grinder to cut the remaining's of the cage out and finally lay down some "Peel and Seal" to finally throw in the new carpet with door trims. Also I know its not really an update but I re-wired ALL the speakers since it had no speaker wires running through the harness and put in a single din radio I had laying around (I'm thinking and building new ideas to put in the double din I have with the gauges I want above it). Open for any suggestions. Any who pics....

The trunk is disgusting and I found out the car was wrecked as when I removed some stuff in the back I saw some crappy welding and that part of the parts were red, when the car is white. I'm a little late on it but oh well it's whatever. I should be getting a full LS swap soon or a D series this weekend until I collect all the parts for my B series swap. Should be getting a steering wheel quick release set up and a new wheel.

Feel free to any comments let me know what I can do to better my car as I'm a noob to this.
