NO NO NO cages in a street car.
Your car in stock form is plenty of protection by itself.
Cage your car and when your body goes bouncing around, and you hit your head on a part of the cage you will either be a vegetable or dead.
If you are in need of more protection i strongly advise you start driving smarter on the street.
Fast driving is for the track not the street.
A cage isnt designed to protect a driver its designed to protect the car from caving in on you.

I see you've already been told how stupid the idea of a cage on a street car is. Safety equipment is a full package deal. You can't mix and match. Either you remove the air bag, cage it, and always wear a helmet with a HAMS, with a full 5+ point harness and racing buckets (and that goes for you and all of your passengers), or you leave the safety systems completely stock. You don't get to pick some parts from column A and some from column B.
Seriously, the best upgrade for you is to become a better driver. If you absolutely must spend money, get some fender braces. They're a shelf item. You could also pay a shop to weld in some cross-frame braces under your car, as well as in your doors, but they're going to look at you and laugh, as will everyone else, and the added weight will make your car slower than a bicycle, which will cause even more safety concerns.

A cage wouldn't have prevented that, and probably would have given you a major concussion if it didn't kill you. It seems like you want it more to protect your car than to protect you. That (also) isn't how it works.
i read a little up on it and you guys a correct, im glad i asked before i bought one and possibly kill myself because of the cage, Thanks for the info.
Seat belts stretch, even in a track car, it doesnt take much of an impact to break an arm or ankle.
I have seen many racers have a simple off track experience and break something.
IMO not worth it for a street car.
You assume a whole new risk when driving a caged car.
Not only you, but your passengers who arent even aware of the danger they put themselves in.
For the street your stock equipment is sufficient believe that!

+1 on defensive driving course. Prolly cost a lot less than a cage and more likely to save your life, rather than the complete opposite.
