Tempest Racing off season EG coupe project
i get numerous calls, texts, emails every day about "when are you building a new car", "whats going on with your new car", "i heard you have a new car", etc.... everybody keeps telling me to start a thread and even though ive been avoiding it i guess i am finally giving in!
my grey coupe was a lot of fun. since day one even when i used to dd a civic i always had a coupe. ive tried hatches, integra's, etc but an eg coupe has always been "my" car so i figured after the **** storm integra and taking a break for a while, i'd go back to another coupe.
here are a few pictures of the old car from the turbo magazine feature. i have never hated a car as much as that one haha
cluttered ugly engine bay
ive had the car for a while now and just slowly working on it here and there. i currently dont even know what "class" im building it for. did all of the dirty work in the wheel wells to allow for 26's if i ever decide to go that route, but am planning on running 24.5's for now. unsure on running a 67 or a 72.... ill figure it out eventually haha
and here it is the way i got it. craigs list find.... bought it with a gsr swap, and immediately sold the swap for more than i paid for the whole car. so its essentially a free, excellent condition EG. off to a good start!
i need to upload some pictures, take some pictures, and quit being lazy and get some more work done on it...but i will update this as much as i can. going to the races with out a car SUCKS, so no more of that! wish me luck haha

thanks guys, this one should be way nicer than the integra.... the integra (engine bay) just looked so cluttered and gross haha
i saved a few parts from the integra.... however i did sell my gear set, which i am kicking myself in the ***** for now!

Re: Tempest Racing off season EG coupe project
So is it cool to post up about new builds w/o pics of the project?? I'm thinking you could have at least showed off the clearancing of the fender wells...not a coupe sitting in the parking lot.
My junk is at least gutted. Guess I'll have to start my thread with the pile of dusty crap parts from 2004 laying next to a POS car.
