Crankshaft pulley help please
Evening all, I'm having no luck with my prelude, the lists getting longer by the day
basically, I've just fitted a new power steering pump, but now the crankshaft pulley has split in half, common fault apparently? It's on an F22B jap import, does anyone know if the H22A crankshaft pulley would also fit by any chance if I cannot find one for my engine?

Any of the F/H series crank pulleys will work (barring the F20C/F22C obviously). The pulley separating is a fairly common thing on high mileage motors, yes.
The bolt is not reverse threaded, however it does have a torque spec of ~180ish ft/lbs. If you have a good impact gun, that will make quick work of it. If you do NOT have a good impact gun, you'll need a Honda/Acura crank pulley tool to remove it.

Excellent that's just what I was hoping to hear, very appreciated for that info
and yeah mines now done 196000 kilometres now so about 120000 miles roughly. I'm thinking about getting a lightweight pulley as they look to be a single unit instead of having the rubber mounting separating the alternator pulley part to the power steering part.
Thanks again tho, hopefully nothing else will go wrong from now on lol

I would avoid a lightweight pulley. The crankshaft pulley isn't just a pulley, it's a harmonic balancer. It helps balance the motor, ensure smooth operation, etc etc. When you run lightweight crank pullies, more often than not you'll run into problems like premature bearing/crankshaft wear, balance/vibration issues, etc. I'd highly advise going with an OEM piece.
When you torque the crank pulley use a torque gun, not an impact wrench.
Also, when you are switching this part out you should replace the woodruff key as well.

Which pulley do you need? a jdm one or a usdm one? with or without power steering? I have numreous ones left over however the onyl ones i woudl part with would be the jdm peice or the h23vtec one without the power steering pulley.
i can sell you one and ship it to you if you want to offer price.

Finally got the pulley, nearly a month after ordering it, I had the cambelt balance belt and all that done not to long ago so it also came with a new woodruff key too, now its just time to fit it and get the old girl back on the road
hopefully I wont run into any more issues now....
