Default B18C1 Rod question

Alright i know i've read on hear that some people rev pretty high on stock rods but i had a question. My class is supposed to be all stock but I'm going to be turning around 8000-9000 haven't found out yet. Will my stock b18c1 connecting rods take that punishment? These are 25 lap races and i'll be hitting that RPM twice a lap. Just curious if i need to go get eagle I beams or just spend money elsewhere.

I would just get the arp rod bolts and fresh bearings. I would be more concerned with valve train at 9000 as well.. Had both issues on my last b18c1 at 9k.. granted it was high miles, but still..

stock gsr valvesprings + rods... i would keep it under 8400rpms.
honestly don't think you need to rev the **** out of your stock engine to get faster lap times.... focus on driving/braking

Time attack and don't worry about my top end it will be fine . And my driving and (not using brake) are fine. I do need to rev the **** out of it because when i come out of the corner i need to be higher in RPMS. If not (like last year) it falls on it's face and i lose a crap load of time coming out.

Your rods wouldn't be the issue. your valvetrain would. Concentrate a bit more on the head if rpm is all you're concerned with.
