98 ex rear brake knocking
replaced rear brakes (shoes drums hardware kit wheel cylinders) and now i have a knocking noise only when i apply brake coming from rear. I checked everything 3 times now replaced hardware kit and drums again, but still making noise. Is there something else that could cause this the trailing arms bushing are worn but the noise is only there when brake are applied? I did search and didn't find a good answer, i know the drums are true and the brakes are adjusted corectly. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the rest pf the bolts in the rear of the cars suspension. Could be possible that a bolt or numerous bolts are loose and causing a part to shift during braking. I.e. ur shock "clunking" or could be a swaybar noise
check the adjuster and fork, when I had a knocking noise in my rear brakes my 95, new shoes wore out in 1000 miles. When I pulled the drum apart the fork/adjuster was snapped, my wheel cylinder blew out and all my clips and springs were shot. I replaced the hardware kit and adjuster kit, and it's been good ever since. I hope this could be of some help.
I noticed that it takes about 10 stops before it starts making the noise. The adjuster fork is good and installed correctly. I used Wagner shoes and hardware kit, I'll try changing the shoes again there the only part that i have not changed again. Also could a wheel bearing be the cause its not loose or making a humming sound?
