wierd noise coming from rear brake assembly
I searched but couldnt find anything specific to this so here it goes...i am hearing this rubbing/squeeking noise(not sure what it is) coming from my rear passenger side brakes. It seems to go "on and off", when i hit a bump it will cause it to happen the next time i brake, but if i hit another it will stop. Its not my pads, they are pretty new and it happens even after i let go of the brakes. The noise is real loud and doesnt sound like the brakes squeeking, its something else..any ideas?
sorry if my post is a little confusing...

funny, my talon is experiencing the same problem, i think it has to do with warped rear discs/e-brake, whenever i brake especially at low speeds and light braking they will moan

try driving your car at extremely low speeds, like 2-3 mph, and with oyur windows down listening for the disc rubbing up against the pads at a certain point of the disc rotation, then u will know for sure if its warped, happens with mine, not sure what else i can tell ya
