So I swapped a d16y7(block/y8(head) into my ej8, with everything plugged in, my fuel isn't priming. What could be the cause(s)??

Fuel pump fuse 13 is good, I replaced the fuel pump relay and tried it again, but no go.

Next I'm going to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter.

What other solutions could there be? Thanks guys!

 

And also! My car had ev6 fuel injector wires setup from past turbo system so I had to splice d16z6 fuel injector harness pigtails and use the z6 fuel injectors. What is the wiring diagram for fuel injectors supposed to be from left to right or vice versa??

When you say your fuel isn't priming, you mean the fuel pump is not getting power, and is not pressurizing the line correct?

 

Did you reconnect the ground on the thermostat housing?

Is 15A hood fuse 44 blown?

Thanks Ron! Thermostat ground wasn't tightened and 15A hood fuse 44 is not blown. Now the car won't even crank, just clicks. Any ideas??

 

Check all your grounds and wirings. Then get your starter tested or a new one )))
