Default Yonaka middle pipe not bent correct, smashes into gas tank hard

The Yonaka I just received is not bent correctly, and rubs into the gas tank hard
Car:1991 Civic Si hatchback, stock engine, stock suspension, stock cat, stock header.
The last bend is too close to the end, and the bend before it is too much bend
White crayon shows the tank where it hits pipe.
Stock pipe under Yonaka
Arrow points to the area it hits tank
I have emailed Tunersports this, with more pics.
Waiting to hear back.
For sure, the middle S pipe is not made right.

I was looking into this, but now I see why cheap never wins...I am trying to see if an Si muffler fits on mine and get that for now. I would wait an save on the HKS one beacasue that is one sexy *** system. Get your money back and get the HKS one and get some props!!

Are you sure you dont have that piece backwards? My yonaka catback fit better than the OEM exhaust... I can take pics if you want.

Yeah, that piece looks backwards. Flip that bad boy around and see how it fits. I bet it will completely clear the gas tank. Almost guarantee it.

Well, here's mine. I've got about 1/4-3/8" of clearance between the pipe and the tank. Are you sure none of your hangars are bent? Is the gas tank damaged? Chassis been tweaked in a crash? Maybe it is just a manufacturing error.

for sure, i even tried to reverse it, and when that, the flanges were not in the correct plane and it was not possible

I am in contact with the supplier only at this point and waiting.

It is VERY obvious compared to the 100% stock pipe, they bent this one wrongly.
My car is 100% stock, the photo is the OEM original midpipe shown with the Yonaka, they did not use the OEM as a pattern that is obvious in pics.
F22Master, even in your picts, it showe they do not bend in the corect spot, yours is too close even....but mine is slammed to the tank, way tight. they should do less bend at the rear end, keep it straight m the bend...

My pic, is the actual OEM original Honda midpipe, and you can see how much Yonaka has failed to get the bend correct. No arguing who did right and not.

I don't want HKS, too pricey for just a aluminized steel which will not last long. 560 for HKS vs 239 for something stainless that will never rust, Heck I would pay a little more for stainless that was fit right

the pic from f22 master looks fine. yeah it's close from how they bent it but it should fit fine. Is yours mounting up to the stock points properly? your bend looks the same as his yet yours is hitting the tank. something else besides the way it's bent may be the culprit.

My fix, was to take a thick flange, and bevel cut it on an angle, and I used it as the gasket, not using the thin gasket of the exhaust kit.

the bevel of it, made it clear, and have since sold the car.

For cheap chinese parts Yonaka is actually fairly on point most of the time. I'm surprised if this is actually the way it's made causing the issue.

i ordered the same exhaust and will be putting it on my crx, but i know modifications will be needed for the midpipe because it's a hb catback.

It sounds really nice when it's not hitting the tank. Even though I moved the tank it still taps it once in a while.
