does intalling a test pipe saves you gas?

i think i read some where that it does.. like 5% or so. Should make sense since less restriction on the motor and less load = less gas rite??

1 thing for certain though is that it DOESNT burn more gas since my gsr with a resonated test pipe gets pretty damn good mileage. I'm not sure if it should be credited to the test pipe or not

somebody please elaborate for me.. thanks

yes frees up air travel....but no YOU WILL NOT SEE 5% less fuel consumption!
