Icon6 B15B7 high idle
I have a 95 Honda civic with a b15b7 engine it's idling at 2500 RPMs and I have smoke coming out of the tail pipe...any clue what could be wrong?

that high an idle i'd say VAC leak. what happens when you hit the gas ? any cels ?

It goes up then drops back to 2500 and it's not bouncing and the engine is a D15b7

VAC leak somewhere see is you can spot it vissualy if not try and "hear" where it's coming from.

I couldnt see it at all and i heard whine kind of but nothing that really sounded like a leak

i had the head gasket replaced, water pump, spark plugs, and a new radiator, and a new starter and battery. nothing too major

head gasket isnt major? sounds like a possibility for both your idle issues and smoke.

Check IACV might be dirty and need to be cleaned.

Im not saying it isnt major...but i had the head gasket done at a shop but how do i check that with out going to a shop

If you put you'r bare hand over the TB does it die almost instantly ? if not you have a VAC leak 100%.
