Default Help!!!!

So my car has been running fine other then because of the Cali heat has been running hot . I went to go visit my aunt today and she lives kinda up a hill and my car wasn't taking the hill very well like it normally does and then I arrived around the corner and white smoke started coming out of it. I got scared so I turned off the engine and parked it . So is there any way to tell if its the radiator or the head gasket? Please tell me it's a easy fix I'm supposed to be moving to tx in two weeks ! Oh it's a 92 Honda accord lx

Start up the car and see where coolant is spraying out of? Sounds to me like you just blew a radiator cap, they are set to a certain PSI so they blow if the system is overloaded.

where was the white smoke coming from? The engine bay or the tailpipe? The way you described your car not wanting to take the hill like it used to makes me think your rings are going bad and your losing compression in the engine. You may not notice it when you drive normal but you put a bigger strain on your engine when you go up hill.

The smoke was coming from underneath the hood and is it possible to blow the cap if it was still on when I popped the hood ?
