Icon6 Honda Accord 2005-Brake problem

Ok New here and Female be nice -

2005 Honda Accord -Pressing the brake pedal the front marker lights turn on and the instrument cluster panel Dims when brakes are pressed... Right blinker engage causes the hazard lights to blink and right blinker to blink fast inside on the instrument panel - same for the left -
any ideas - already replace the brake switch above the brake pedal.. fuses ok -
any help much appreciated

You have a electrical issue or bad ground

First thing I'm thinking is have the battery tested. A weak battery can cause all kinds of communication errors with the computers. Loose/corroded battery connections and grounds are also likely causes. Since there is probably a cover over the positive battery post, you can't see the corrosion without opening the cover. Good luck

^^ Battery is only needed for starting the vehicle. Alternator runs all the electrical.

@ lora king: Test the alternator and battery to start. Almost any auto parts store will test for free.

I don't think so. My weak battery was causing various communication issues with the MICU. Changed the battery and everything was fine.
