Guys, any of you know of a company that make a Valve Spring Compressor Tool that can be used on a B-series head? the thing is that it is quite deep.

The one from Snap-on Tools is the best. You can either buy it from their website or call there customer service for a location near you. I use one myself. Not sure about the part number. Their Valve spring adjustment tool is also worth the money, just make sure its the 10mm sized one.

I use a modifled V8 valve spring compressor from comp cams. Its a pain in the *** but works.

search for pn#YA9140 on snapon.com. It is a really nice compressor and the only type I have found to be effective on a head that is still installed on the motor.

Actually that Draper's kit is more complete since it comes with valve holders and other things, but how much is it in us dollars? The site only got it in some kind of foreign currency.

 

I'll guess it will cost around US$188 for the Draper Kit, but it does not come with all the Guarantees unlike the Snap-on part.

 

I use the Snapoon one. I believe that tool thewarehouse.net has the same tool for $75 but dont quote me. Its exactly the same and I payed too much. Its works great and enev reaches the valves on vtec heads.

 

Yeah there was a post here earlier awhile back about one for 50-75 bucks online somewhere.

 

anyone have one i can borrow... ill pay $$ for rental. i just need it fro like 2-3 days.. or as long as it takes to do a whole head.
