Valve Spring compressor adaptor, C-clamp style for Bseries VTEC

From: driving a wolf in sheeps skin in, NY
Head is off of car. Plan on getting the Craftsman C-clamp style compressor for $20, but I have read that an adaptor is needed. Where can I get this adaptor?

yah but that one comes to about $90 after shipping and tax. Not looking to spend that much.

You will need to be creative to use that c-clamp style one.Because the valves springs/retainers sit down in the casting they are hard to get at.You need something like this on the retainer end of the compressor. http://www.goodson.com/g5-bin/...P3141
