Get a set of feeler gauges and check them yourself.

x2 on checking yourself...

Is the "ticking" actually being heard in the head?
Just because valve lash is adjusted to spec doesnt mean there isnt other rocker/lma problems going on....just a thought.

Blowing white smoke is typically a sign of burning coolant....does the car over heat? Is the motor consuming coolant?

No car doesnt overheat at all but i checked them and they have intake at. 007 and ehaust at. 009 is that correct. Also forgot to mention it is turboed. But turbo seems to be spooling fine and no shaft play.

I am buying a test kit today to see if the head gasket is blown and doing a compression test to check if my rings are bad.but they shouldnt be car ran fine till i got the valves adjusted.

Sounds like they adjusted them wrong then....

Intake = .007-.009
Exhaust = .009-.011

Give a little info on how you are checking the clearances...
