Get off that mobile app. The pics are tiny. Can't tell anything.

I don't have that problem with my PB app doing that. It uploads full size pics to a regular gallery. Not a mobile one.

The Alpha series valve spring kit and retainer uses Titanium retainers

The pro series valve springs do not come with retainers.

Skunk2 springs are not painted, [red or yellow], but then again, OEM ones are not painted either, that I have seen. 94

I'm pretty sure they aren't OEM hence the dual springs. But I was also thinking these could be chromoly retainers? I don't want to slap these springs in until I find out what they are and the pressure on them. I got these from a friend and he swears they are skunk 2. But you know how that goes. Should be getting my head back from the shop in a week or so.

ummmm. b series had dual springs on the intake side. Type R's i believe had yellow paint on them. people swap intake over to the exhaust side all the time and run type r intake valve springs.

Okay I see what your saying. But its not yellow paint its just a little bit of rust on them and the flash on my camera gave it a yellow looking affect

Is there a way I could just test the spring pressure? and compare it to the skunk 2 ones and I could find out for sure.

Take them to a machine shop and get them tested for spring pressure. Retainers look OEM. I have a set of pro series springs from about 4 years ago and S2 ti retainers of the same vintage. They look nothing like what you have there. They have serial numbers on the top side.

Serial numbers on the top of the retainers? Or the top of the springs? I think they are type r retainers. Possibly skunk 2 springs because they are all dual. Gsr motors came with just the intake side that's dual. Im like an hour and a half away from the nearest machine shop is there a way I could test the spring pressure at home?

Serial numbers on top of the retainers.
