Took apart my ECU to find out if its chipped. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of ECU's so I have no idea if it is or not. Here is a pic Of it. I think the chip in the top right(with sticker) is an aftermarket chip but not sure.

Really? No one is able to tell me if this thing is chipped or not???

And yes I've been googling and can't really find the answer I'm looking for.

It's chipped, but I have no idea what it's been chipped with. Or even if it's running off that chip. Is J1 jumpered?

Near the chip silkscreened on the board you'll see J1 next to two solder pads, if there's a wire soldered between them J1 is jumpered and the ECU reads off the chip, if it's not jumpered the ECU runs off the stock program.

 

You're right. I was looking at the wrong corner.

 

I'll have to go take it out again and look at it up close
