And you can't just go to the dealer and pick up a new dizzy ?. Or go to a pick n pull if it fits it fits, I don't know how integrchangeable the d series distrubuters are but http://www.d-series.org/forums/engin...stributor.html

For one thing, he needs to know which dizzy will work on it, the SOHC ZC didn't come in any vehicles here in the states that I am aware of. Also, you're talking big $$$ for a stealership dizzy.

That doesn't mean you have the CORRECT ecu, if I recall correctly you need a PM6 ecu.

Don't see why you couldn't run one off of a Z6. Then again I'm no swap expert.

as grumblemarc posted he needs a p70 ecu not a PM6 that is an obd-0 mpfi ecu not obd1... Im pretty sure if he ran a z6 dizzy and a z6 p28 ecu it would work fine. the ZC was almost identical to the z6 here in the states. i see the p70 is not a cheap ecu on ebay. a p28 would be cheaper and work fine. you could also always get a chipped ecu as well. i dont know if u plan to boost later which u would need a chipped ecu anyway.

Never edited my OP I implied it by saying "I don't know how integrchangeable the d series distrubuters are" not going to argue about who said what...
