It came up earlier in a conversation trying to determine if a tune was needed when switching from fic1000cc to precision 1000cc. My opinion was yes you should retune due to different brands of injectors having different flow patterns and causing the fuel to atomize differently.
I was just wondering if I was giving bad info or if I was correct?

yes. They will have different battery offsets which will throw off the fueling everywhere without setting the appropriate dead times and tweaking the tune.

Thanks Blake. I was thinking at the very least the tune needs to be tweaked as you mentioned.
Agreed, I would strongly recommend retuning. But why the switch? If I'm understanding correctly you'd be going from a much newer technology to an older technology?
I'm guessing you're using our 900cc high impedance injectors which flow the same as injectors referred to as 1000s from other companies. (These are ours: http://fuelinjectorclinic.com/d-b-h/IS115-0900H)
