Today is the day when i need to change oil to my d16z6 del sol.... and i want few answers. I make several tests with oil .First was 10W40 eneos and it was good about 0.5L to 3000km.
From 2 months i make 2000 km with 5W30 eneos oil , but my car don`t like eneos 5W30 she eat him about 1l at 1000 km.

or Castrol Professional wich is new oil

At my last cars i use motul and it was very good

If your engine is consuming oil, the last thing I'd be worried about is what kind to use next. How much oil is being used between changes?

It says it is using about 1l per 1000km

1 liter is pretty much equivalent to a quart.
1 km is .62 miles.

So 1000 km is 620 miles, he burns one quart for every 620 miles.

Holy *****, that car is eating oil.

Next question is how many miles does the engine have on it...damn thing's bleeding to death.

This isn't an oil issue. This is an engine burning oil issue.
