Just wondering exactly how much oil I should use in my 93 del sol s for best performance? I don't have a helms manual.

3quarts.. 3.1 3.5 4.0?? a d15b7

last change I swapped from mobil1 synthetic to royal purp

Should I use full synthetic w a stabalizer.... if so which1?
Is royal purp a fullsyntheic? Will using fully syntheic oil lead my engine with 130k on it to leak in places it normally wouldn't?

Is Honda MTF better than syncromesh>?
Are Honda oil filters any better than fram>?

What other maintainence can I do to prevent the bogged down feeling I'm experiencing with my normally quick del sol?

I found out same day... 3.5 quarts in a d15b7

SAE 5w30 recommended w stock components
SAE 10w30 full synthetic ...

mobile 1
royal purple
lucas stabilizer

I was also told I can use a 10w30-40 in my tranny with lucas additive

still not sure how much I need to add if I drain the tranny completely

your tranny takes 2 quarts.. just get 2 quarts of honda mtf dont use oil...

also the motor .. always put what it says to put.. make shure that the oil is at the top hole of the dipstick.. dont skimp out on oil because it could do damage to your motor
