91 crx rev but will not stay running

So I recently did a head job on my 91 si and now when I try to start it, it won't run just rev and die... When I spray starting fluid into it, it will stay running I have no idea what the problem is

So I've gone over everything I did again the car is on time and its getting fuel and spark. It wants to start but something is holding it back

You could check compression or see if there is a restriction on your fuel return line for a start

i check compression and its good in all the cyclinders i read somewhere that it coould be the ignition switch but would it run off starting fluid if that was bad

Yeah it still would run off of that which means it might not be getting fuel back into itself
