Default Accord feeling super twitchy w/ studded tires

When I get on certain roads with my studded tires my car literally jerks/twitches from side to side. Its only at freeway speeds and it is only on certain type of lined cement on the freeway that I have found this happens.

My theory why this is happening is because the studs are falling into the grooves on the road and since all the studs are not perfectly lined up with the lines in the road... I get all sorts of jerking/twitching.

Anyone else had this issue? Or... I dunno. Hopefully shed some light.

Also, I get a loud squeaking from the passenger side suspension. I sprayed WD 40 on everything except for the inner tie rod and it still squeaks. It only squeaks when its cold outside, so I haven't got a chance to replicate it.

WD 40 is for metal. Not rubber bushings. It will make rubber swell. Read the can! You should be using silicon spray!

What size of tires are on your car? Studded tires are much less stable on freeway speeds than regular winter tires.
I find that lower profile on studded tires is more stable but I never buy studded because of road noise, stability and where I live we rarely get ice on the road that last for that long.

Thats another thing, my studs have pretty much worn down to nothing since Ive moved to Salt Lake City because I do a lot of freeway driving. As for the silicone spray, there is metal to metal contact with the LCA as well as the outer tie rod end. Thanks for the heads up with the bushings though.

My guess would be that the studs are just slipping! I've noticed a big difference when driving on studed tired as well!
