I would try checking for power at the starter first.

Try the neutral safety switch under the dash. You'll know if its bad when you put a paper clip, wire etc. in the two prong connector put the clutch in and start it. If that's the problem of course...

The PGM-FI Main Relay has nothing to do with the starter.

The CIS, [clutch interlock switch] may, there is no neutral safety switch in a 5 speed.

Try a bypass jump...

It will tell you if it is a starter problem or something else.94

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the two prevent the same thing. Starting the car in gear.

Techanacly yes and no, the NSS only allows car to be started when in park or neutral, a CIS allows car to be in gear and still be able to start the car, semantics maybe, but there is enough "misinformation", [albeit not intentional] that clearification can't hurt.

Although the do kind of the same thing, the starter circuits on autos and 5 speeds are differant, with differant problems and symptoms, other then the obvious, engine will not crank. 94

It's at the very top of the clutch pedal, #18...

A bit of a pain to get to, you need to plug the hole the "stop" was in, youcan get the part from Honda or plug it with anything, I have superglued pennies over the hole. 94

heres the broken peices
heres where they came from if you look closely you can see the gap between the screw and the clutch pedal. is there suppose to be something there?
