Default Distributor Timing?

SO I got a Obd0 Distributor from a 1990 SI CIVIC, and I got it on my car but the car is acting really strange, its making a weird sucking noise from the intake, and it bogs really bad when I give it any type of acceleration? Do you think I should cut the dizzy a little more so I can adjust the timing more or wtf do i do o.0? It was working fine with the other distributor

Why did you change out your Dizzy if it was working fine?
When you did change it out...did you happen to use a timing light and make sure your timing was correct?

Okay just got to the bottom of this, The OBD0 Distributor has to be custom made to advance more because the rotor is a bit off, so you have to make some kind of bracket to make it so you can advance prolly a good 2 inches more so you can time it correctly

That doesn't sound right.. My engine was doing the exact same as yours. I tried switching the plugs to the TPS and the MAP, it fixed my issue. I had them backwards

Yeah I made sure they were in the right spot, but it seems that my obd0 dizzy just isn't the right fit so it has to be advanced beyond the built in leg brackets, so I cut them off and made a custom bracket so i can advance it accordingly
