Default 99 headlights on Eg help

I have a 99 front end on my Eg. Trying to redo the wiring cause the previous owner jacked it up. I have a engine bay harness for a 99, but not sure which wires on the plugs are for power to headlights so I can splice into the Eg wireharness. Does anyone know which color wires are what in the 99 harness for headlights? Thank you

They are red and black just like a eg harness.

So the p.o. cut the head light bulb plugs off the harness?

The p.o. Extended the wires like crap. Instead of simply using a 99 harness and wiring it in, he tried to splice the new wires in but cut wires in horrible places, twisted together and taped them. It's a cluster F of wires. I'm looking at wires and colors aren't all the same as the wiring diagram shows.

Both of you are on the wrong course...

The EG / EK Corner marker - Headlight plugs are Identical.... Trying to use a 96/00 Core harness, is just a waste of time and effort. Goto U Pull It, cut out some factory EG harness, splice, clean up the wiring, simplest fix.

Curious how telling the op the are the same makes me be on the wrong course?

I honestly cant understand the op's funky *** logic thinking he needs to use that particular harness.

Because previous owner cut harness, and new owner is trying to use wrong harness.

I have no clue either, but its the honda world, some people try so hard todo things the wrong way...

Guess ill make a trip to Pick a part and find the harness. The P.O. Cut out all the plugs and just spliced it together. I can't remember if there are stock plugs from the ecu to the harness for the headlights. Guess ill find out later today.
