Mini-me - b7 block/z6 head and dizzy/y8 pulley - wont stay on?

Default Mini-me - b7 block/z6 head and dizzy/y8 pulley - wont stay on?

So my mini-me wont stay on it turn on but it idle 400 around there and it drops and seems to wanna die almost does and then a bit later it does die.i got new plugs and dizzy. my battery isnt good i jump it to start it.. even when it running it dies on me. wonder what can it be. I did the timing correct i belive line up the oil line on the crankshaft gear with the arrow and the cam with the word 'up' and line up with the head
help?

y8 cam pulley? Get rid of it, you need the D16Z6/D15B7/D15B8 cam pulley.

Code 80 is egr are you sure it's 80? The p28 doesn't look for egr and code 80 won't be thrown on OBD1 ECUs. You sure it's not code 8 for TDC circuit?

Yes im pretty sure it 80 i thought it was weird as well. its a auto ecu but converted to 5speed and thats the only code i get 80

maybe it can be 8 it 8 flashs allo the same paces

Can u post a video of the blinks? If it still throws 80 you might want to try a good known ecu as yours may be defective.

Im pretty sure it is 8 is. my ecu is fine i tested on my friend d16z6 it works fine. My engine get hot really quick, but temp gauge dont work either

Code 8 TDC. Takes a couple of cranks so it can turn on 2-4 cranks

I ended up trying my biddies dizzy on my and went for a test drive no code now so i gunna need a new dizzy. i also got code 21 now. My temp gauge still aint working yet so now it just new dizzy and code 21 and a might need a valve adjustment
