Default d16y8 block with d16z6 head

New to posting here, but have taken advice ive seen here on my.own builds with alot of success. Just cant find a thread to answer a small question I had about timing my d16z6 head with d16y8 block. Ive already gotten new head stud bolts 9 y8 bolts and 1 z6 bolt for next to VTEC cylinod,i have a z6 cam gear and crank gear also a y8 cam gear and crank gear.. Im reusing all the z6 alternator, dizzy, ecu etc.. ok now my question is is there a way I could combine stock parts to achieve correct timing? Without having to buy an adjustable cam gear.

Ok well I have a z6 block and head in the car I hydro locked the z6 block,I found a good y8 block and converting everything from the z6 to the y8 block. That's why I'm not going with a y8 head. This is a daily driver I just want back on the road. And help or advice would be nice. But for the most part just seems like I should use the y8 cam gear and y8 belt and I'll be alright
