Default Help! Odometer and tach twiching when key is turned on

I was running some RCA cables for my new deck in my 2002 CR-V EX behind the back of the instrument cluster and I must have knocked something loose because now when I turn my key on all the cluster gauges twich for about 20 seconds. If I start the CR-V they eventually stop after about 15-20 seconds and work normally again.

I found this little black clip on the floor... (pic below)

Can someone tell me: is this a piece of the cluster wiring I knocked loose or is this just an unrelated piece that holds on the plastic trim?

What else could I have knocked loose to cause the instruments to twitch and jump all over when the key it turned to on???

I do have the factory stereo removed right now but non of the leads are touching or anything.

It's just a tab which has come off of something. Trim piece of some kind, most likely. Has nothing to do with the wiring.

Did you use a harness adapter or did you hack your factory harness in order to install this aftermarket head unit of yours?

I chopped the factory harness off and was just going to twist and tape for now but nothing is connected yet and I just double checked the dang things weren't touching each other.

Just realized I now have a maintenance required light on too so something is not right.

Problem solved. I blew a 10A fuse in the engine compartment labeled "BACKUP" which also goes to the dome light. Once I replaced the fuse the twichy speedo and tach went back to normal.
