Hey guys I drove my eg hatch to school today and its running like crap, I degressed the engine bay last night so I think there's moisture somewhere or something I don't wanna start throwing parts at I only have $150 for parts this weekend and I still need a new battery. What could be wrong with it?

 

Need more info..syptoms..what's it doing

 

Check the distributor cap for moisture.

 

I just doesn't sound right when I was driving it, it sounded different idled different and farted back a lot.

 

 

 

So take the wires off, wipe them inside and wipe nips down off distributor?

 

Take the wires off, take the distributor cap off, wipe everything dry inside and out around the distributor.....

 

Its not that uncommon that people think they can spray down their engine bay and not cover anything up and get things wet that shouldnt be.

 

ended up be spark plug wires they werent tight on the valve cover wouldnt seal so i bought new one for $25 and works perfect.
