I'm wondering if it's possible to add a Second Knock Sensor to the B18c.
I'm running AEM v1/COP. Looking at my Knock Parameter and the log, it doesn't seem completely accurate This KS is old and has had the **** beat out of it. I'm definatly gonna replace it when I put the Car back togather this year.
Knock is something I want to keep a very close eye on and I want to see it as accurate as possible. Lets say money is not an issue! What would you guys recommend as the very best option?

 

It probably doesn't seem accurate because OEM knock sensors are no good for tuning engines be it modified or stock.

Reading spark plugs, use of wideband O2 sensors, exhaust gas and cylinder head temp sensors are all better for tuning ignition. Any of these would be more accurate than using an any number of OEM knock sensors.

if you want to listen for knock during tuning you should look into using det cans or a purpose build stethoscope. If money is no option and you want to spend the cash. You could purchase an aftermarket knock detection system; http://www.phormula.co.uk/KnockMonitoringSolutions.aspx
