Take that bumper off and see what broke, see if you can fix it if not go to a body shop.

I'm sure once you take off the bumper you can figure out what will work.

Why did you disable the clutch switch, when there are a few remote starters available for manual cars?

This accident will probably happen to you again.

Honestly Best Buy installed the remote start when I got the alarm. I called them and told them what happened and how I thought in gear the car shouldn't start with remote start, they said they aren't responsible for damage and to call the alarm company to see if they can do something about it.

On another note, do I need to take the lights off to get the bumper off to put it back correctly?

Omg a new bumper I'll have to save up and use zip ties until I can get a ings+1 cuz thats the only bumper I want.

Did you try to take it off yet? Looks like you just have to push the bumper back up and put the screw back in near the back.

Which bumper clip are you referring too?

I haven't taken it off yet, I've been real busy at work. I'll attempt to do it on the weekend with what limited time I have. Trying to find a jdm bumper guide so it will go by faster but haven't found one yet.

Take it off before you buy anything. It takes like 2 minutes to get it off and from your pics it looks like you can just pop it back on(unless there is some damage I am not seeing).

theres no damage, that literally is the gap that happened, I hit his side door so there was no push back as the door dented, hence no cracks to my bumper thank god besides a few scrapes. I look in the gap its too dark to see anything but when I try to lift the bumper up and put it back it just fights me, so I'm gonna take it off this weekend and try it. Do I need to remove the headlights to get the bumper off?

The bumper reinforcement may have gotten bent. Once you take it off it is held by 4 bolts and slotted so you may be able to loosen it and push it up.

There is a screw near the back of the bumper screwing up into the fender you will need to undo, also the lip screw that screws into the splash guard needs to come off. Underneath the front there may be two bolts that screw in as well. Then just pull it forward and it should pop right off.

Like previously mentioned it is the support that is bent. Even if it doesn't look it. It took me a few tries to get mine to line up proper. No need to buy a new bumper cover because that wont fix it.

If I'm not mistaken it is technically illegal to install remote starts in manual transmission cars.. I know a lot of companies won't do it just because of this reason
