Default crack in the bumper: fix or replace?

I just picked up a 2001 Integra GSR over the weekend. It seems someone backed into the car while the previous owner was in possession of it, and cracked the front bumper with a trailer hitch. There isn't a hole, but the there is a 4 or 5 inch crack that goes all the way through the bumper. My brother-in-law says he can patch from the back side of the bumper, but I am wondering if I would be better off replacing the bumper. I'm new to this game, so I have no idea what that might cost though.

As long as the bumper isn't severly warped, you can definately repair it. Just make sure you do it right and you won't have any problems.

ya definitely fixable, but do it from the backside that way you dont have a huge mess on the front...a crack on my front bumper is what im dealing with right now....i recommend some plastic fuser or a 2 part epoxy made for urethane bumpers...
