What kind of battery did you use?

It's not exactly safe to just move an acid battery to the rear of the car, it should be in a sealed battery box that vents outside the car.

1 gauge will work, make sure you have a fuse inline. And also a battery box that vents to outside if its not a sealed battery

1 gauge sucks. Use 0 gauge so you don't have to do it twice. I'm speaking from my own experience.

its a exide racing/commercial battery. its too big for my front battery location bc it rubs my clutch cable. I ran one gauge amp cable with a inline fuse block and so far ignition clicks over and relays click. I'm making sure the gauge bc after engine is rebuilt dont wanna burn my car down.

I had a crx with a relocated battery using 0 gauge wire, never had a problem with it. I would probably go that route. And x2 on the sealed or vented battery idea.
