Code-4 1991 Accord-Crankshaft Position Sensor
Just replaced the valve cover gasket and plug seals including the rocker O-Rings, gaped the valves, put it all back together and fired her up and got a CEL code-4. I looked it up and it appears to be the crankshaft position sensor in the distributor...but why after setting the valves and replacing O-rings and such? Thanks for your assistance!

It never hurts like mad-mike said and buy some electrical parts cleaner and spray our the plugs to ensure they are clean.

OK, thanks for the advice guys. I will try to review what I did yesterday and see if I can locate what happened. It was getting dark and I was getting tired buy the time we got it back together.
If I can't fix this distributer (1991 internal coil) can I use a distributer from a 1993 external coil? If so will I need a timing light? Any other issues I should watch out for when changing from a 91 internal to a 93 external?
Cheers
