Default Help needed h22 hatch runs crapy

Hello guys,

My car is 96 Civic hatch OBD2a
Engine Is JDM H22 97 OBD2a

i had check engine lights and i was hoping that when check engine will go everything will be ok...
now there is not any lights everything is wired and hooked wright,
compression is ok on all cylinders, timing is ok ....
sparks, sprak plug, coil is brand new .....
walbro fuel pump... 255 lph

i have small oil leak from oil pan can be it a problem (I know it`s problem will repair) why my car is running crapy? I can`t beat even stock prelude ....
As you know oil pressure is important for Vtec engines... maybe it can`t make good oil pressure?

any help?

I don`t know what to chek elsee?

You still have yet to define "crappy". And there is no such thing as "aggressive VTEC". It either works or it doesn't.

Waiting for P30 an jumper harness... wil do some Dyno tune but before i will do it i need to be sure that engine runs fine ...

Heres my car vs Accord cl1 Euro-R with some mods but car runs like stock BB4 maybe little bit better...

Have you checked the mechanical timing (timing belt and cam to crankshaft orientation) ??? Also, if your VTEC doesn't seem to be working, I suggest checking the oil pressure, especially above the VTEC crossover RPM.

ok crappy could be cus of how that distribuitor is placed.... try to check if yur distribuitor is in the dead position thats how i call it well it have to be right in the middle no forward no backwards and try to see if theres any diference of how the car runs... ok yur vtec check if yu have enough oil with the dip stick.. take the vtec solenoid out and check if the screen is not clogg or dirty that could lead not to have vtec good luck

1) I will fix oil leak...
2) will change timing belt and then will do timing adjustment
3) will clean up vtec solenoid
4) will check injectors.
5) check oil pressure...
6) adjust valves...
as i know oil pressure must be close to 40 psi on idle? and what numbers must be in vtec range?

I hope car will run as it should.

and then i will install My P30 and do some Dyno tune.
We have drag race in one month so i need to fix issues and check my drag time...
thank you guys!!!
