New to the CR-V world!
After owning two '95 Civic CX's and an '89 RX-7 GXL, then recovering from a bad ankle injury, I picked up a '98 5 speed awd CR-V :D

Nothing really done to it as of yet. I threw a shift **** on, removed the stock air box and threw on a generic cone filter. Sounded a lot better than anticipated. No videos unfortunately. I'm stuck in a debate right now. I've been planning the future of this magnificent beast, and cannot decide if I want to go B20/Vtec and stay NA, or mildly build another B20/LS head on the side, slap it on , and low boost with a good tune. Anyone on here boosted? Whatever route I go, I will be tuning on eCtune with a tuner who knows the software inside and out.
Should I stay B20 if I go boosted? or drop down to an LS bottom end for the thicker sleeves?
Also, I've seen that KSport makes coilovers for this, which excites me. Does anyone have some experience with multiple types of coilovers who can point me in a direction?
Cheers.

I'd go vtec before boost as you can continue to use 87 octane fuel and its an easy (cheap) tune. Boost it down the road if you want. B20 is fine, the rod bolts are the weak point of the block, not the sleeves. Get some ARP rod bolts.
Look around at the 10,000 threads about lowering.

As handy as the search function is, in forums of this size, searching through the endless banter between the useful posts is so time consuming. But I'll do my best in the tens of thousands of threads here. When I have made some actual progress, I will update this thread or start anew. Thanks for the warm welcome.
LDForget, you make a valid point for vtec. But gas prices aren't my primary concern here. For the price of 87, I may as well sign away my first born child now and bend over for premium. haha. Thanks though

Yeah definitely pick up a Vtec head of your choice...go that route first then boost. It'll be worth while. Sadly for me I picked up a high compression B20V motor and in order to boost I'm going to have to build another block(I have 2 spare B20 blocks) with lower compression before I can safely boost on pump gas.
