HELP!! CRX no power in gears!
Hello, I've been a ghost just observing this forum for sometime now but had to register to make this post! So basically my crew and I are all out of ideas with this CRX. The car is 1990 CRX HF. It has a JDM DOHC ZC swap. The problem is the car has little to no power in ANY gear. I have changed the dizzy cap, dizzy rotor, ignition coil, spark plugs, ignition wires, fuel pump, oil, and oil filter. The car also has a stage 3 clutch if that helps. The car seems to start fine however it it revs very slowly. Flooring it in first gear gets me moving about 5-10 mph. Only thing left I can think of is the timing, tranny, or clutch. Any ideas guys?
check your timing man. is your check engine light on? did you just do this swap or has the car been running before and this happened out of the blue?
Yeah ima check the timing today and pull the fuel injectors. I bought the car with the swap and it didn't run when I bought it. The check enginw light is on. But it apparently did run because I bought the car from the previous owner at his work place.
Check timing, and honestly I would check the fuel pump. A failing fuel pump could idle decent but bog down under load. Could also be bad connections, I would also check all ignition wires and grounds for corrosion or damage. The wires for the fuel pump are known to get brittle.

Are any CEL codes coming up?
EDIT: oops looks like you do, start with that and disregard the rest of my post
A compression test would be helpfull since you dont know how healthy the motor is.
I would also look over all of the wiring that was modified for the swap. Make sure its all how it should be.
Check your grounds as mentioned.
Check your throttle cable make sure its intact
Check the wiring to the TPS and the TPS sensor, its common to forget to switch those wires, you might try switching them.
Make sure your plug wires are in the right order.
Check your injectors, a quick check is to unplug them one by one with the motor running. When unplugging a bad injector it will cause no change in the engine, a good one will cause the car to bog and sputter.
Do some daignostics so you dont end up throwing any more parts at this problem.

Yeah ima take the car to oreillys and pull some codes. I already had a compression test done and every cylinder is good. I'll take a look at the car more later today, im in the process of buying another daily driver since the crx is just a lawn ornament right now.
