2013 Intake Preference
Hey everyone, i just purchased a 2013 si coupe and I'm looking to replace the intake with an aftermarket one. As of now, my plan with the car is to keep it simple until my warranty goes but I will definitely be upgrading the exhaust and intake to start. After about an hour and a half of research, I've come across basically three total intakes, two cold air and one Ram, that I could find online. I know that most of the 2012 parts fit on the 13 but i just wanted to double check these two and see what your preferences are between them. First is the injen, which I find alright, name brand that I've heard of and decent reviews. Secondly, the Takeda Momentum Sealed Intake (Pro-Dry S Filter), i find to have a new, unique look to it and it seems to be good quality. Rookie question but i was wondering why the two cold air intakes I looked at have no heat shield? Lastly, I looked at the A'PEXi Power Intake which I'm in question about because it's way cheaper. I'm not SUPER experienced in my car knowledge which is why I'm coming to you guys. I'm looking to get the most power and over all quality out of whichever intake I finally decide to go with. Money is not really an option(seeing as you can browse the internets for a little and find better prices) but I don't want to go to wild on my first upgrade. Any suggestions/ comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
