hi i got a 92 hatch and i know i have a camber problem with my front tires but . now i notice last night my car was vibrating bad when driving and on acceleration driving it home . was wondering what this could be i was thinking engine mount but i would like to hear other people ideas. thanks

 

is this vibrating upon any acceleration at all or a certain speed or rpm range? mine started vibrating after installin new driver side axle, but thats when i found out my motor mount is bad so not sure which it is.

 

it could be your tie rod ends... check them and make sure there not worn, that's what happened to mine.

So let me get this straight. You know there's something wrong with your alignment, you're having a problem that generally points to alignment and attached components, and you haven't taken it to get aligned yet...why, exactly?

Do a visual on your motor mounts, then take the car to the shop. If it's just your alignment, boom, problem solved. If there's a broken part causing it, they won't be able to properly do your alignment, and any competent shop will tell you this to get you to pay more. Drive your car home, replace said parts, and bring it back in for said alignment.

 

thanks alot i just put a new driver side axle and the gsr i had put in my car was with the old mounts it came with that wasnt very great. so i think its the mounts because when i rev the engine and moves and . it vibrates at every mph and even when sitting and revving it .
