ive got a 99 civic it has the y7 in it, and im just looking for a little more pep to it. heres jsut an idea, meaning its not planned or bought but i was thinking about this setup.

y8 mini me swap, crower stage 1 cam part#63440Y, tune of course, and the previous owner already did a ractive header and decent exhaust and a big *** spectre intake(its gonna be replaced).

talked to few guys around here and they said somewhere with like 140ish with that if it was tuned right. whats some opinions? pros or cons? suggestions? any input is welcomed. thanks.

 

i don't think you'll get "140WHP" on a d series with bolt ons+cam i think others will agree.

 

I thought it seemed a little high, I was thinking MAYBE 120 if I was lucky..

 

you'd need to get into bottom end building to see 140whp

 

its just the motor has super low mileage and practically virgin, and i dont really have a reason to ****** it out. if anything id try to find another block and build it if i wanted close to 140. but i think ill be satisfied with a mild cam and bolt ons with the mini me swap.
