Default Help with my new Braided Fuel Line?

Just got my new AEM Fuel Rail and this Braided fuel line in the mail. Its for a B16, and it says it goes right on to the OEM Fuel filter. But the end doesn't look like it will go onto the OEM Fuel Filter. Shouldn't the one end have a loop in it, to put the banjo bolt ontop of?

whered you get it from? ( id assume fast-turbo but just in case)

did you get any other fittings? and yes it should. usually they send the banjo bolt adaptor and a few others with it.

either way its an easy fix. go to summit and search for a banjo bolt adaptor for whatever size that is. take of whichever end you choose and put the banjo on it.

well they kinda screwed you on that one. im gonna go ahead and guess they meant it for an inline fuel filter which you don't sound like you have.

so check out summit and find whatever size the pipe is(-6an ie) and find a banjo adaptor that'll fit.

right idea but im gonna guess that line is a -6an.

Found a -6AN Banjo Bolt Adaptor on this page. $23.99. Makes for an easy fix. Thanks for the help.

The banjo bolt isn't necessary. As long as it threads in correctly and doesn't leak, there's no reason you can't use it as-is.

no. you screw the adapter into your fuel filter, then the line into that. the fitting gets rid of the banjo bolt.

and this is why you don't try and give tech advice at midnight.

those other adaptors are for what was stated above. ^^

i wasn't thinking it through fully. you'll be good with just that. if not the banjo will work as well(if its too late to stop the purchase) but it is kind of a step backwords so to speak.

Haha, its all good. I haven't made any purchases yet. So the adaptor that I have will just screw into the fuel filter is what you're saying?
