B18b1 ebay dizzy help
i was going to buy a distributor from advanced or autozone for my turboed OBD1 B18b1 for the limited lifetime warranty and both stores are only a few minutes away from me, thing is, im not looking to spend 210$ on a distributor that may not need to be replaced... (ive been having this strange on-going issue that i believe is distributor related, more specifically ignition control module, but why replace that for ~50$ when i can replace all of it for ~150?) So, my question is, which of those sketchy, cheap, no name ebay brands is the best? What exactly is ebay "high quality?" And what constitutes "heavy duty?" Here are some links of dizzy's i found, just an example of what im looking at...

i want something that will last, good quality, new, and within the price range of 100-200$, warranties are also nice... thanks in advanced for the replies...

I'd get the better ACCEL upgraded coil from Summit, and call it a day, and forget eBay altogether. The only super important parts other than the cap and rotor is your ignitor, and as long as that fails, why risk eBay?

BAM. why **** around? ...

Or junkyard or local forum.. Hell I've even found great deals on Craigslist
Is the coil and ignition control module two separate things within the distributor? im currently running an msd external coil, because i thought my coil was going bad, but the problem persisted after replacement... i was told that the distributor has an ignition control module and a coil, and i was also told that the ignition control module is located elsewhere in my engine bay... this is frustrating lol, is there an ignition control module, and where is it?
