How do I identify what A/C compressor I have? Matsushita or Sanden? Do i need to remove it to do identify it?

 

Mine has a sticker on it that says, Sanden on it. It's on the front towards the radiator. You'll probably need a mirror to see it, but at least you won't have to remove it.

 

The matsu has a larger pulley than the sanden. Thats one way to check. Also hoses connected at the compressor are different.

Looks like the hardware on the outside face of the belt pulley are significantly easy to spot as being different.
The Matsushita has the 3 big round things where as the Sanden has nothing like that at all.
