well ble smoke is burning oil, white is coolant, and black is fuel(too rich)

valve seals are a little rubber seal that sits between head and the retainer, and the valve goes through the middle, it is there so no oil seeps into the combustion chamber.
Valve Guides is the metal sleeves that are in the head that your valves ride through

Do a compression test on teh cylinders. Valve seals are in the head. They slip around the top of the valve and stop oil from going past valves into the combustion chamber.
