The car tends to have a bad idle, it fluctuates between 1500 to 200 rpms.
It feels like its choking out, and has no power. It now just doesn't start or idle. But when it made it past the bad idle it ran great.

I changed the distributor cap, roter, fuel filter, and also cleaned the idle control valve,and it has spark. Any ideas?

why are you in engine management section?
just because its cleaned doesnt mean its working properly.(IACV)
try another one.

have you checked your timing?

incorrect timing will affect idle speed because ecu tries to compensate for it and bounces.
is there fuel in gas tank? how old is the fuel?
do you have equipment to troubleshoot it?(fuel pressure gauge, timing light etc)

 

the timming should be on my fule is new it seems to have good gas presser
it was running fine be for it died it just stalled out and now wont start it sucks and where should i post it then lol new to the *****

but i can get a timing gun
but i got spark to all clyinders
the eingine is a 1.8 littler with a vtech head with no vtech

 

you should give complete info first time when posting.

tell more about that vtech with no vtech engine of yours

 

it dosent have the vtech sellanoid or wireing or it might have a vtech brain but i dont know yet going to look it up today around six
